Our Surgery is now using accuRx Patient Triage. This is an online consultation service that allows patients to contact the practice to ask for medical help, medical advice or for administrative requests.
In the midst of self-isolation due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), accuRx Patient Triage allows patients to contact their GP from home.

Following extensive trials, the first safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine has been approved in the UK and is now available to priority groups.
Vaccinations are being delivered according to priority groups identified by the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI). The vaccinations may not take place at your GP practice, but rather a local vaccination service (led by GPs, practice nurses and community pharmacists) who are responsible for delivering the vaccine to people in your community.
When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccination, you will receive an invitation to come forward. This may be via the phone, or through a letter either from your GP or the national booking system.
We know lots of people will be eager to get protected but we are asking people not to contact us to get an appointment as you will not be able to get one until you are contacted.
Flu vaccinations for 50 – 64 year olds
Following the government’s announcement on Friday 20th November, we are now able to offer the flu vaccination to the additional 50-64 year old cohort, who are not in a clinical risk category.
Please telephone the surgery to book an appointment.
On the day please DO NOT:
turn up if you have any Covid symptoms.
bring any excess outer clothing or bags that may delay your time in the surgery.
bring anyone into the surgery with you (unless you or they are a carer and cannot be separated).
On the day please do:
wear a face covering from when you arrive until you leave.
use the hand sanitiser on entry and exit.
wear clothing that allows for easy access to the top of the arm you want to have the vaccine in.
IF YOU HAVE a cough, OR fever, OR shortness of breath
Please stay at home. Please do not book a GP appointment, do not attend the GP Practice.

Do not contact the surgery unless you are unable to manage your symptoms with rest and paracetamol

During the Covid-19 outbreak we will be strictly limiting face-to-face appointments at the surgery.
Only attend the surgery if you have been specifically instructed to do so by a member of the team.
Notice to patients
If you have an appointment booked with a Doctor, Nurse or any other health care professional, patients are now asked to bring a mask to wear for their appointment.
You need to wear a mask at all times during your appointment. Wearing a mask protects yourself and others around you from germs.
It is important that we all do our part to keep everyone safe.

The aim of the Practice is to provide a high standard of patient care by both medical and non-medical staff. We aim to treat patients fairly and equally, with dignity and respect at all times, in a comfortable, friendly and safe environment.
The partnership practises from purpose-built premises on the corner of Park Street and Firby Lane. There is a private car park at the rear for the use of patients using the surgery. There is disabled ramp access from the car park with automatic doors into the main building.

Yorkshire Health Network Extended Access
Extra appointments are being provided in the evening at weekends from premises in Harrogate and Ripon. The service is an extension of your GP practice and offers pre-bookable, routine primary care appointments with a range of clinicians including, GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants.
Of Note: Yorkshire Health Network Extended Access in Ripon are currently only providing GP appointments.
