URGENT: Repeat Medicine On-line Ordering
The practice has now moved to a new clinical system called 'SystmOne'.
During the transfer, some of the services patients were able to access through our old system will be impacted and your support will be helpful during this period for a smooth transition.
The online services you used to order repeat medication will stop functioning from Thursday 8th April 2021.
If you use the NHS App to access our online services you will be able to do so again after 21st April 2021. All other applications and websites used to access online services will stop connecting to the practice from 8th April 2021.
We strongly recommend that you register with NHS App to prevent any disruption on ordering your repeat medication. Guidance and access to NHS App is available by visiting www.nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login. Here you can access online services via the website or you can download the app for your smartphone. If you cannot successfully login in to the NHS app, please let us know and will find an alternative solution for you.

Our Surgery is now using accuRx Patient Triage. This is an online consultation service that allows patients to contact the practice to ask for medical help, medical advice or for administrative requests.
In the midst of self-isolation due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), accuRx Patient Triage allows patients to contact their GP from home.

If you are Over 18 and not yet had your 1st COVID-19 vaccination, the Ripon Racecourse clinic are offering COVID-19 vaccines on 20th July and 22nd July. These are the last clinics which will be available through the GP practice. Please call 01765 692 366 ext 35 or 39 if you would like to book an appointment.
How to access the NHS COVID Vaccination status
The NHS COVID Pass is available if you:
- have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine (a full course is currently 2 doses of any approved vaccine)
- were vaccinated in England
- are aged 16 or over
Access the NHS COVID Pass through the NHS App
You can access your NHS COVID Pass through the free NHS App on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Proof of your COVID-19 status will be shown within the NHS App.

You can view your COVID-19 status online and download or print it as a PDF document. To access the service, you’ll need to register for an NHS login if you do not have one already. NHS login registrations may take longer than usual when there are high numbers of requests.

Request an NHS COVID Pass letter to be posted to you
Request a letter only if you:
- have been fully vaccinated by the NHS in England (you should wait 2 weeks after your second dose)
- are planning to travel in the next 4 weeks to a country that requires evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
- are aged 16 or over
The letter will be sent to the address registered with your GP. If you have recently moved house, make sure you’ve given your new address to the practice before requesting a letter.

If you do not have access to a smartphone, computer or tablet and know that the country you are travelling to requires COVID-19 status, you can call 119 and ask for a letter to be posted to you.
If you request a letter from your GP regarding your COVID vaccination there will be a fee for this Non-NHS work.

Please stay at home. Please do not book a GP appointment, do not attend the GP Practice.

During the Covid-19 outbreak we will be strictly limiting face-to-face appointments at the surgery.
Only attend the surgery if you have been specifically instructed to do so by a member of the team.
Notice to patients
If you have an appointment booked with a Doctor, Nurse or any other health care professional, patients are now asked to bring a mask to wear for their appointment.
You need to wear a mask at all times during your appointment. Wearing a mask protects yourself and others around you from germs.
It is important that we all do our part to keep everyone safe.

The aim of the Practice is to provide a high standard of patient care by both medical and non-medical staff. We aim to treat patients fairly and equally, with dignity and respect at all times, in a comfortable, friendly and safe environment.
The partnership practises from purpose-built premises on the corner of Park Street and Firby Lane. There is a private car park at the rear for the use of patients using the surgery. There is disabled ramp access from the car park with automatic doors into the main building.

Yorkshire Health Network Extended Access
Extra appointments are being provided in the evening at weekends from premises in Harrogate and Ripon. The service is an extension of your GP practice and offers pre-bookable, routine primary care appointments with a range of clinicians including, GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants.
Of Note: Yorkshire Health Network Extended Access in Ripon are currently only providing GP appointments.
